6.  Katie Lavelette Jones was born in 1919.  She married Lafayette Wordsworth McKinney (1915-1991)
and they had four children:  
  1. Judith Kay McKinney married Rosser Moore and they have two children: Lisa Moore and Rosser
    Lee Moore.  
  2. Lafayette "Mack" McKinney, Jr. married Vicky Shaw and they have two children: Robert McKinney
    and Eric McKinney.  
  3. Sherry Ann McKinney married Frank DiBagno and they have two children: Sarah DiBagno Wells
    and Nathan DiBagno.
  4. Dr. David Duanne McKinney is director of the U. S. Interior Dept. Museum in Washington, D.C.
7.  Austin E. Jones was born in 1921. Austin was a real estate agent in Danville, Virginia for many years.  He
married Janie Elizabeth Hurrell and they had four children: Austin Jones, Jr.; Susan Leslie Jones; Cathy Hurrell
Jones; Frankie Hunter Jones.

Austin Jones was a printer at the Register & Bee in 1941-42, until he entered the Army during WWII. When he was discharged in 1946,
he worked six months more at the newspaper. Austin is the only member of the ball team who is still alive in August 2007.

he married Annie Brooks Pruett, the daughter of  Nathaniel Pruett and Laura (Driskill) Pruett.  Annie was born
September 30, 1880 and died July 15, 1969.  Dan Jones died in 1946. Dan and Annie Jones had seven children.
