Robert Daniel Ricketts & Nancye Barbour Ricketts

We have three children:
1.   JoAnn "Jo" Ricketts was born in 1969 and is a teacher and married to Kevin. Jo has four sons:
a.   Ryan
b.   Cody - little Cody lives in Heaven. See Cody's Website that his mom created.
c.   Lucas
d.   Attie

2.   Robert Allen "Bobby" Ricketts was born in 1971. He married Kimberley and works for the Post Office. Bobby
and Kim have one son:
a.   Joey

3.   Paul Daniel Ricketts was born in 1973. He married Rebecca and they are both 1996 graduates of Rhema
Bible Training Center, and currently live in Oklahoma, where Paul works for UPS. They have two sons:
a.   Caleb
b.   Samuel

Robert Daniel "Danny" Ricketts was born in 1941
and Annie Marie (Jones) Ricketts.

Nancye Yvonne Barbour was born in 1948 in
Danville, Virginia, the daughter of Ray Edwin Barbour
and Ruby Mae (Gusler) Barbour.

We were introduced by a couple we both knew - Richard
and Wanda Rowland. The four of us went bowling; it was
a "blind date" for us. It was called "blind" because we
hadn't seen the other person before the date. A little
risky...... but it worked for us. We were married in 1968 -
less than six months from the day we met. That might
seem fast to some, but we actually waited awhile to be
sure.

We own and operate this website although it has tended
to take on a life of its own. For 29 years, Danny worked
for the U. S. Government and was able to retire early
from the Postal Service in 1992. Nancye has been a
rural mail carrier for the Danville, Virginia Post Office
since 1979.

Both of us are the pioneering pastors of Victory Family
Church in Danville, Virginia, which started in May 2007.
Life is getting more interesting, the older we get. We will
never retire from life - retirement from the post office
sounds good though. (-- Nancye)
